Kenmare Ireland Lodging Help

Looking for recommendations for lodging in Kenmare. Looking at Brook Lane or O Donnabhains as our first choice Shelburne B&B is fully booked. We don't really want to spend more than $150/night and will be there 2 nights. We would like to be in or very close to town so that we can walk around the town, to dinner and the pubs in the evening. Any recommendations are much appreciated.

copy and paste:

You could do a lot worse than the Abbey Court http://www.abbeycourtkenmare.com/ another good option is Sallyport House http://sallyporthouse.com/

If they don't fit the bill then maybe http://www.thecoachmans.com/ centre of town.

We have stayed at the Lodge, a kind of quirky place with large rooms named for flowers. Not right in town but an easy walk.

A little beyond is the Old Church House, which we liked. Good sized, clean rooms, Helen very lovely.

I was able to secure a reservation at O Donnabhains. Any feedback on this B&B, room recommendations, dinner, etc?

Not on my accommodation list. (haven't stayed there, know nobody who has)

It is as central as you can get and you only have to go downstairs to eat. There are any number of reviews on TA and other places.
