I was just reminded of another story when we needed our passports! We were on a train headed to Munich from Vienna. About an hour into our journey a couple of what looked like maybe security guards stopped in our train car and asked to see our passports, as well as the two gentlemen in the car with us. We then made an "unscheduled stop" and one of the men was removed from the train. I have no idea what that was about.

Hmmm...I'm not too good about carrying around my passport with me but since I have had two experiences where we have actually needed them I guess maybe I should think about that next time I travel abroad.
