Hello,

I want to do KD River Rhine Cruise on 14th April 2013.

It is showing availability only from 26 April to October.

How can i book the Cruise for 14th April,2013 ?
(I want to travel from Bingen to Braubach on the Cruise)
Also at what times can i board the Cruise from Bingen ?

Pls let me know asap.

Thanks,

This is a day trip, not a cruise, and I don't think you need to book, just turn up and buy a ticket. We had no problem doing that last summer.

Assuming that the symbol at the bottom of the timetable reads taglich, which means daily, you could leave Bingen at 0930 and arrive at Boppard at 1220. The return journey takes longer, because you are going against the current of the river, but could leave Boppard at 1505 and arrive Bingen 2000. Alternatively, you could take the train back to Bingen.

Thanks All..

I can see a low season map.
Which time is good for the day trip ?
1.Start from 9.30 Bingen
2.Start from 14.30 Bingen

Either departure time is good. Afternoon might be warmer.

But booking isn't necessary. You CAN book specific itineraries on specific dates for 30€ each through kdrhine.com BUT - you have much more flexibility for your itinerary if you just show up at the Bingen dock and buy tickets there. And you'll save money too. Cruising the best part for 2.5 hours - Bingen to Boppard - costs only €23.80 one way, full price, or €25.20 round trip. And if you show the train ticket you used to reach Bingen, you get a 20% discount. Why pay €30 each if you can do the cruise for about half that amount?

Oh - I see now that you want to cruise to Braubach. Yes, you can do that. But instead of the pass, you'll still save $ if you get the one-way trip with a 20% discount on the regular fare (€34.10 for that stretch.)

If you're planning to tour Marksburg castle in Braubach that afternoon, you'll need to take the morning boat - the p.m. boat arrives in Braubach too late for a tour.
