Kayak.com or cheap seats for airline tickets?
Hi,
I'm able to find non-stop flights to Munich using kayak.com for $300 less then flights with a stopover in London, using the airline's web site. Usually, when something's too good to be true, it's too good to be true. Is there a catch I should look for? Is kayak.com reliable? Where else might I look for air fares? Thanks for all your patience in helping this novice traveler. |
You might cross-check with a consolidator such as www.onetravel.com or an aggregator such as www.itasoftware.com

You can't book on Kayak. Near the stated fare they will tell you where to book, ie the airline website, or a consolidator website. Just get the flight numbers and info from Kayak and then check where to book. Sometimes the fare is available where they say it will be and sometimes it is not.

Also, check the airports/dates Kayak has you going through, sometimes they have you flying into one airport and out another.

Hi G,
Kayak is reliable. Consolidators often have rates lower than published fares. Airlines often have sales. Also check www.mobissimo.com and www.1800flyeurope.com ((I)) |
