I just returned from 3 weeks in Norway( with just a few days in Copenhagen) and had a great time. If any one has questions, I have lots of answers and recommendations. Just ask.

Lois -- have always heard Scandenavia is expensive, but is it a bit more in reach this year? Did you spend time on the water or in the mountains?

<BR>You can eat in good restaurants for about $60-70 excluding drinks (for 2) without drinks. I found that wine was expensive. What would be an inexpensive bottle in this country was around $30-40 there. It was hard to find a bottle less than that. As for sightseeing, get a tourist card for the city you'll be in. My cards for Oslo, Bergen and Copenhagen was included in the price of the hotel. I also took the Hurtigruten, the Norwegian Coastal Cruise all the way from Bergen to Kirkenes. It was awesome!
