Just realised less than 6 months on Passport
Due to have a 7 day vacation in Turkey within next 3 days- I've just realised when I came to imput my passport details onto the required imigration site that my passport expires 5 months & 24 days from date of entry & have read that it needs to be valid at least 6 months fromhan date of entry.
I hold a Full UK passport-can anyone please adviset hey have or know of anyone in a similar situation?

Will they refuse me entry into Turkey for the sake of a few days? I've read that if you hold a UK passport, don't appear to take much notice of your details but simply take the £10 note off you & stick a Visa stamp in your passport.
I have been to Turkey aprox 10 years ago & can remeber something very similar.

<i>"Entry Requirements - Passport validity
You must hold a valid passport to enter Turkey. Your passport must be valid for a minimum period of six months from the date of entry into Turkey and have at least three months validity from the date you are exiting Turkey."</i>
Airlines are often the 'gatekeepers' because they are required to transport passengers denied entry back to their departure points. I have personal knowledge of a number of people denied boarding by the airline because passport validity periods were inadequate. You may not even get to Turkey to test whether Turkish officials take notice or not.
