Just Back from Fabulous Trip to Puglia
 

Sorry I meant to post this specifically on the Italy site.

I just returned from an 11-day trip to Puglia. We spent the first three nights in Trani, the next four in Conversano and the last three in Lecce. Saw many towns and sights in between.

A trip report will be forthcoming but just wanted to say "hi" and help answer questions anyone might have, in the meantime.

Very interested in your trip report since we are in the very preliminary planning stages now for a trip to Puglia/Sicily. Could you mention hotels where you stayed? Thanks much.

We stayed in three places on this trip. The first, in Trani was a B&B called Ai Carrittierri. The second, just outside of Conversano, was a masseria called Agriturismo MontePaolo, and the last was just outside of Lecce, called Villa Giuliana B&B.

If you want any specifics, let me know. I am working on the trip report.

I'm very interested in reading your trip report as well. I bought a bookguide of Apulia when I was in Italy last year and I definitely want to go there.
