Just Airports

I was planning to use Just Airports while in London until I read some terrible reviews. Which was confusing since I had heard such good thinges about them. Researching further, I found out there are 2 companies with Just Airports in their name: 1. Just Airports Transfers (justairports.com / justairports.online 2. Just Airports London (justairports.london). Is one company responsible for the bad reviews? Have you had good experiences with either or both of them?

Why not just take a taxi? Taxi from the taxi stand at the airport to hotel. Taxi from the hotel to the airport?

Good question. Somehow I was under the impression that Just Airports was better (maybe cheaper?) but a taxi would definitely be the easiest!

Where are you traveling from / to in London? Never (ever) take a taxi in from LHR or another airport. A taxi would set you back about twice the cost of a car service.

Just Airports is one of the best car services -- they've been around about 30 years and I've used them probably 20+ times. this is the website https://www.justairports.com Prices have gone up due to the congestion charges but stil about half the cost of a taxi.

Blackberry is also good but more expensive than JA (still cheaper than a taxi though)

edit: Actually - I've used them at least 2 or 3 times a year so likely 35+ times. I use the tube about half my journeys to/from the airport and a car service the rest -- mostly depends on time of day and where I'm staying.

oh -- and Addison Lee is also good -- but again more expensive than JA.

London City Airport to Fraser Suites Queens Gate. And I just remembered that you (Janis) suggested this in an earlier thread: Transport from LCY will take just under an hour. The DLR to Canning town. Then the Jubilee line ro Westminster -- both will be step free, From Westminster either the District Line to Gloucester Rd (definitely not step free) or just catch a cab at Westminster which would drop you right at the hotel and would probably be my choice.
Dumb question: what is DLR?

Docklands Light Rail

There are no dumb questions, only dumb answers.

Not a cab (or a car for that matter) from LCY.

Yes -- the Docklands Light Rail - definitely not dumb. And I'd personally hail a cab from Westminster Station to Fraser Suites to avoid the steps at Gloucester Rd station.
