Jules Verne Restaurant prices
 

I know it may not even be possible to get reservations to the restaurant in April but I was wondering if anyone knew what the prices might be like for lunch or dinner for two people?

We were there for lunch almost 4 years ago and it was about $120 per person (including tax and wine). You do get admission to the top of the Eiffel tower as part of the experience and we have never regretted spending the $$. The food was great and it was a very classy experience for our kids (my son will never forget spending his 17th birthday there!)

Two years ago we had dinner at Jules Verne and I think that you can count on €100 per person without wine. Sure you can do it for less but....
The sky is the limit when you add wine. It is easy to be in the €100 - €300 a bottle range.
Is it worth it - it will be a night out that you will remember and talk about forever.

My friends and I had lunch there this past summer on the day before returning to Chicago. They had a prix fixe lunch at 56E or 59E. Spectacular view and amazing food. Whisked up past the crowds by their private elevator, we felt like royalty! I believe we were there about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I believe my bill was about 90E for my lunch - kir royale to begin, wine with dinner, and cappucino after. Money well spent for the experience.

Lunch menu is €58 and dinner menus €128/130 (wine not included).

Lunch with wine for two people was $140 for us doing the prix fixe. Go now because Alain Ducasse has taken the reins and will close it for a month this summer for renovations. And who knows what with the menu price. But it is owned by the City of Paris so it may be kept in the semi-affordable range.

Try this website - it gives prices and says you can book online. Enjoy! Let us know how it is - I keep telling my husband that we must go for my 55th birthday! I figure if I talk about it in advance maybe I'll actually get there!

Reservations can only be made by fax or telephone. Here are the numbers:

Call them directly, taking into consideration the time change and the times the restaurant will be busy. It is by far the best way to get a reservation. You will need to give them your hotel name and number. They will call to confirm.

We had lunch there to celebrate my husband's birthday just a month ago. Lunch with drinks, but no wine, was $420 for four people and was wonderful.

We made reservations just the week before through American Express concierge. I am now a believer that they can get one reservations any where, any time! They also got us dinner reservations at Atilier Joel Robuchon, which I was told did not take reservations.

Leburta if you're reading this, or anyone else who might know, how do you go thru Am Ex concierge to make reservations? I'm looking to make rezzies for Jules Verne for the third week of May and it sounds like I may have problems already.

I have a Starwood Am Ex and wonder if this is a benefit I "qualify" for. Is there a link you could direct me to?

One caution; In october, Jules Verne insisted that we reconfirm our reservation for lunch the day before. We did so by telephone with no problem.

We found it absolutely wonderful. They will not serve desert in the bar/lounge, but we took coffee and brandy there after our lunch. Superb service, and stupendous view.

We had our hotel make luncheon reservations for our trip in April. The hotel just confirmed this with me today. The day before, we must call and confirm. Dinner may be more of a problem as they are booked months in advance but I would e-mail your hotel and ask if they would make the reservation.

We are in Paris in April also. I emailed my hotel 2 weeks ago for a reservation for dinner at Jules Verne. They are, sadly, booked through May , but have some openings for lunch.

We couldn't get dinner reservations either but we did make reservations for lunch.
