Jules Verne

We can get a reservation for the Christmas week at the Jules Verne but not for a window seat. Does anyone know if the view is worthwhile from non-window seats? Would it be better to use the money for a great restaurant somewhere else? Any comments on the quality of the food?

My mom and I had lunch at Jules Verne last May. We were not at a window seat but 3 booths away and still thought it was fabulous. We really enjoyed our lunch- everything was fantastic! We were treated very well! Even though they say now that you can't have a window if you go I would call to confirm your reservation a couple days in advance and ask again, and again at the desk- it never hurts to ask! Here is a virtual tour so you can see the table placement. If you place the cursor on the picture and scroll to the right you can see the "booths" that I mentioned. We had the last one next to the wine buckets.

Well worth it--you can still have a marvelous view.

Just ate there on Oct. 1st. They told us we couldn't have a window table either but we ended up with one anyway. The food is very good and IMHO the view is probably pretty spectacular wherever you sit. Go and enjoy yourselves!

David
