Juice to charge battery at restaurants

Sometimes I go to restaurants just to charge the battery for my phone or bike. I try to find a table near an outlet before I sit down and order. I appreciate the service but often wonder how long will it be included in the price.

What are your experiences?

If it's just for your phone buy a small lipstick USB external battery.

That will recharge most phones fully. If you don't mind something larger you can get models that will recharge your phone multiple times.

is it still possible to buy phones or laptops that can't run for 12 hours?

I have a small charged power pack I take along, the size of a credit card.

My phone will last for many hours but if using it a lot have the lipstick charger. My husband has a super charger that is about the size of his phone for a laptop.

At least an hour's worth.

Many places here offer bike charging outside so you don't even need to lug the battery in to charge it. Free if you eat there normally. Charge your phone from your bike. Simple.

I'm glad there are more and more options for this. There are kiosks on the street here in New York with free charging.
