Josy Mermet at Printemp?

Hi again--am posting these questions separately because I have found in the past that unrelated topics seem to get different responses. Am considering booking a consultation with Josy Mermet at Printemp. Wanted to get a haircut anyway and the complete makeover and wardrobe fix sounds like a lot of fun. Any one out there tried it?

I've seen her website and she has a dozen or so before and afters. I liked Valerie BEFORE!

Hi--will write a longer report later, but, did want to say that we didn't have Josy Mermet but one of her long-time experts. It was definitely a highlight. We were told what our "personality" is and how it should be reflected with colors, textures, hair style etc. My husband loves my new hair color and cut and daughter loves her new cut. We both love our new clothes (had the personal shopper experience on Monday to top it off).

How much was a consultation? I am curious as I was not crazy about some of the makeovers on the site. Sounds like you both enjoyed it.

140 Euros for the 1 hour consultation includes the "prescription" for haircut plus free 1 hour personal shopper if you so choose (and free personal shopper anytime in future). The 1 hour consultation also includes nice personalized sketches of 3 outfits to look for, color chart, makeup with makeup chart, recommendations for hats, perfume, fabrics, home furnishing style etc.

Its not so bad as i thought. Were the haircuts something that you liked or were they a bit too trendy? I would love to try it next time in Paris but I don't want to end up looking like Minnie Mouse.

My 28 year old daughter and I love our cuts--I have gotten lots of nice compliments about both my color and cut including from my husband.

You can take their suggestions and get the cuts, or decide to ignore them.

The haircut/color are additional and at a different location.

Hi,

How much was just the haircut? Do you make the appt. for the haircut when you reserve the consultation? Is the salon for haircut nearby?

Thank you so much!
