My friend who was there with me, not Barb, exchanged cards with a French marine biologist, a very interesting man who lives in Paris and in Cannes. You never know who will be there on the night you go. Actually, I wish I were going back tomorrow night.

Thanks for all of your thoughts on the dinner. We just got back tonight from Paris(great ice and snow storm in Chicago right now.......)but wanted to let you know that we decided NOT to go after all. I ended up taking my son to one of my favorite little bistro places on Sunday night and then another fav last night. The money I would have spent at Jim's went to a great bottle of wine and drinks on top of the Eiffel Tower (always like to make memories!)I am pleased to say that I think that my son had a wonderful time although my legs are killing me from all of our walking!

dutyfree! Welcome home! And yes, the weather here in Detroit is much like yours..We have a white out right now.
I'm happy to hear you made memories with your son, Hope you'll post a trip report. Especially the food part. I'll be there in 28 days. And I'm getting my legs and feet ready to keep up with about 30 or so teenagers.
