Jewerly Beads, where in Florence & Rome

The title say's it all. My wife makes beaded jewerly and wants to pick up some beads, probably in Florence or Rome, however we will be traveling all over Tuscany & Umbria. Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Wayne

Hi Wayne,

I bought some Venetian glass beads at the San Lorenzo market in Florence in 2006. I recall there were a couple of stalls that sold beads. I can't recall the name of the stalls but you will run into them if you visit the market if they are still there. It's a great market to visit.
Good luck!

Hi Wayne,

We were in Rome in March and found a nice little bead shop on Via dei Coronari. I don't have the number but it's a lovely little street with many antique shops. I think it would be easy to find the bead shop.

I know a nice bead shop on Via Pelligrino, right behind Campo De' Fiori on the way to Chiesa Nuova (before Via Dei Cartari). It didnt seem too pricey....

Hi Wayne...we're heading to Rome September 6th and I'd love to know how you made out with your bead shopping! I'm looking for advice as well...and have to maximize the shopping time I will have.
