Jet Lag Pills

I see in the local travel store and some travel magazines advertisements for a natural sleep lag pill that you take while on the plane and then when you first land. As a jet lag sufferer I would appreciate knowing if this really works - or a waste of money.

If you're talking about the produce "No Jet Lag" (made in New Zealand), it worked for me and my husband and for two of my friends that recommended it.

IT SEEMED TO WORK FOR US BUT MAYBE IT IS THE PLECEBO(SP??) EFFECT. NO JET LAG IT IS CALLED.

Singing praises for 'No Jet Lag' pills!
They work for us. I can't sleep on planes, so I would be somewhere in jetlag delirium when I landed. If I take them as directed, I feel about 50-70% better. They don't stimulate like caffeine; seemingly no side effects. Felt like I'd had a couple hours of sleep. My husband (who sleeps on planes) says lag is dramatically reduced when he takes them.

What's in them? What is the list of ingredients?

Lesli Jan 12th, 2003 08:55 PM

Ingedient list:
Five homeopathic ingredients are diluted into small amounts and are manufactured according to the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS): Arnica Montana (Leopards Bane), Bellis Perennis (Daisy), Chamomilla (Wild Chamomile), Ipecacuanha (Ipecac), & Lycopodium (Clubmoss)

I use melatonin, which works well for me. Recommend you try whatever you choose for a night or two at home, as my brother does not like melatonin at all - says it causes disturbing dreams for him.

I don't even believe in homeopathy, but these worked great for us west coast to europe & back.
