Jerez de la Frontera or Arcos de la Frontera?

Hello,

I'll be in a cruise this summer that stops in Cádiz for a day. I have been to Cádiz before, so I'm planning to take an excursion to somewhere else. Two of the choices are Jerez or Arcos. Would appreciate any comments about each to help me make my decision. Thanks!

Jerez.. tour sherry bodega and see the Spanish riding school and /or their stallions perform ( schedule may not coincide for the show).

Arcos de la Frontera.. for me it was nice scenery but I don't recall anything else up there.

I'll back up lincasanova--Arcos was nice but mostly from afar. We didn't find any sights in our short visit. We did an overnight at the top of the city--extremely narrow streets and great views but little else. Nice experience though.
