Jarvis Kensington hotel in London--opinions?

Going to London and am thinking of booking this hotel, near the Gloucester tube station. Does anyone have any feedback from a stay there, or any recommendations for other hotels near that tube station? Thanks!

I believe that I am staying there in July. I say believe because I reserved it as Ramada Kensington but when I did a search - I got Jarvis as well and it's the same address.

It is very close to Hyde Park and that tube station. A friend of mine is at Imperial College nearby and says it is a good location. If you are staying after July, I will give you real feedback.

I plan to go late Aug., so it would be great to hear feedback from your trip. Do you mind me asking what kind of rate you got?

$99.95 a night via travelocity -only staying there for two nights - part of a larger trip to Europe. Will keep you posted.
