January Honeymoon in Switzerland

We are planning a January trip to Switzerland. We would like to stay in one spa hotel with a jacuzzi in room with balcony for one of our hotel stays - willing to splurge a little here. The rest of our hotel stays will be more modest ($250 a night or less). Our musts include the Matterhorn (understand weather may be an issue), Glacier Express (don't need to do whole route), and Bernina Express (only want to do St. Moritz area to Tirano). Looking for recommendations on hotels and itinerary adjustments as needed. We're going for 10 days. We're both experienced travelers and want to do some winter hiking, possibly cross country skiing

Day 1 Fly Boston to Zurich
Days 2-4 Thun or nearby - Thinking of getting nice hotel/spa here but willing to switch it up
Days 5-6 Zermatt area
Days 7-9 St. Moritz area - Thinking of doing the Bernina Express from here to Tirano and back in one day
Day 10 Fly home - Better to fly from Milan or back to Zurich

How much are you willing to stretch "nearby" to? I highly recommend the Ermitage hotel in Schonried, one stop over from Gstaad. 5 star spa hotel, everything is included -- room, spa, three meals a day plus afternoon tea/coffee with cake. Live music at night. Some rooms have fireplaces (in January I would pick a fireplace in my room over a jacuzzi). Beautiful views. Free guided hikes if you want to make a day of it outside. They will pick you up at the train station and take you back (free). Note: it's very dog friendly so if you don't like dogs at all, then it's not for you. https://www.ermitage.ch/en

Use sbb.ch to get an idea of your travelling times. You may want to rearrange your itinerary simply because you have so little time in those places.
