Thanks Karen, I hope you had as fabulous a trip as we did!

No, I am just an amateur holiday photographer! Wish I could survive on photography! You are so very kind!

I have a Nikon 5200. But to be honest, some were taken using my iPhone. Composition is much more important than the camera used!

looks like a great trip, jamikins, and wonderful photos as ever. We just loved Andalusia the couple of times we went there; I love the fact that you can get something to eat and drink almost any time of the day - or night, not to mention the wonderful architecture, the weather, and the wine.

Thanks annhig - we totally agree, the weather, the wine, the food....sigh!

As for restaurants we enjoyed:

Seville:
Eslava
La Azotea
Zalata

Ronda:
Tragata

Córdoba:
Regadera

The food was excellent at all these restaurants!

Jamie your photos are stunning, as always. Thanks so much.

I was thinking of more or less the same trip in September this year, but switched to Veneto/Umbria instead, as I thought it would be too hot for me.

I am now re planning for Spring, probably 16 days, covering Seville, Granada, Rhonda, Cordoba, Malaga. Have not worked out the route as yet.

Beset regards ... Ger

A good move.
It was a very hot fall in most of Spain. We arrived in Madrid
on the 13 th of Oct....for the first several days it was 28 - 29C, later a bit cooler
but still very sunny 20-24 C.
It was warmer in Seville by several degrees.

Thanks so much everyone!

To be honest, this was probably one of my favourite trips! Loved it so much. In hindsight I think Granada really stole our hearts!

Ger - you can do a big loop! The benefit of starting in Malaga and ending in Granada is you can fly home to London City airport! We flew into Malaga but chose to skip it this time because we want to do a long weekend there and it is an easy flight from London. You should get lovely flowers in bloom in spring!

Malaga > Ronda > Seville > Córdoba > Granada would make sense.

I highly recommend a food tour, especially in Granada, to teach about the city tapas culture! Do it the first day to get all the top tips!

YEP! Lately I am planning all my trips to fly from LCY .

Good recommendation on the food tour - it is tough to enjoy tapas for one

Jamikins,

Your photos are incredible! Trying to decide which one food tour to take based on your report~Sevilla or Granada? Thanks for taking the time to share your

Thanks plufmud!

You can't really go wrong. We loved the one in Seville so much we booked the Granada one while we were there. And we were so glad we did!
