Just a note to say that I really enjoyed reading your trip report (I skipped right to Puglia---running low on time) I too laughed out loud in many parts. Thank you for making it entertaining and informative.

The big thing I appreciate is reading about the extreme heat that can be experienced in June. It has made me realize that we would most likely be much better off heading to Matera sooner than later considering we will be leaving soon to spend a month in Puglia (and Matera).
