If you look at their website, it only shows room rates for between April 1st and September 5th. This means they're closed the rest of the year. They probably won't start answering emails until next month sometime. Have faith and keep trying!

Akin, I'm in the same boat. I keep emailing every couple weeks as well. Have you tried calling? I've been meaning to try that too (maybe they'll answer the mobile number), but haven't yet. It's tough because I want to stay there, but don't know how long to wait before booking something else! If it were just myslef, I'd just go without reservations and find somewhere, but this is for my wedding guests, and many of them don't travel like that! Good luck and keep me posted ...

Neither one of you really has anything to worry about. You're both going in May, right? None of the hotels will be full then. Eventually you'll get a reply, but even if you don't you can call when you get to Athens to make your reservation. Island code: 22860

Thanks brotherlee - and I agree. I (and my family) travel like this often, so to me it's really no big deal - BUT this is for my future in-laws for our wedding and they like to have things reserved and set! I may just tell them I have a place booked so they stop asking!!!

Thanks for your update, jaclynpoulson. I have tried their cell phone and get no answer. I'm sure we'll both hear from them in March, like brotherlee said. When I do connect, I will mention your attempts and the fact that it is for a wedding.

I'm going to try to call Thea Studios tonight or tomorrow. I'll post any results here. I'll be asking them when they plan to answer their emails. Give me your names and dates preferred and I'll mention them specifically.
Just a thought: If either you or they have spam blockers on your computers it might just be that the emails are getting blocked. I know that this happened with some people that were trying to find rooms at the Attalos Hotel in Athens.

Just to be clear, is that 6 rooms for 12 people then 5 rooms for 10 people? If you want to give me more details you can email me at [email protected]

For anyone else who was curious as to the place that so many people would like to stay! (It's in Santorini.)

No, and I have been religiously sending emails and getting on their website filling out the inquiry form. They are inundated with emails from me. I was beginning to think I may have pissed them off. In fact, I just sent Maria another email asking if there were safe boxes in the studios prior to seeing this thread again right now. I decided not to “put all my eggs one basket” and have booked our last three nights at Villa Lukas in Imerogli. That leaves us with the nights of May 3-06, May 4-06, & May 5-06 still open for Oia. I am holding out for Thea Studios for those 3 nights. Thanks Lee. Good luck, Jaclynpoulson.

Interesting how you are so eager to lock yourself into a fixed price when you can get a much better deal on arrival. I know many travellers like to have everything arranged in advance, but there are excess rooms on the Greek Islands in May, and hotel owners compete for your business at the port. They will have pictures of the rooms, maps showing location, and offer a tempting rate. They transport you to the hotel for free in most cases. If you don't like what you see when you get there, try somewhere else.
It helps to have an idea of where you want to stay, and I have seen many suggestions from brotherleelove and others on this board. Chances are the hotel you are interested in will have spare rooms in May, and offer a better rate than if you book in advance.
If you insist on booking in advance, at least choose a hotel that answers your emails.

I hope my last post didn't sound harsh - it wasn't meant to be. You may have a good reason for needing to book ahead, and six rooms together certainly qualifies. In most cases, though, finding a room on the islands in May is so easy, you have nothing to worry about.
