So we also stayed at 14 Hart in this very room. It was more expensive than we would normally pay but we loved it - great room, great location, very good breakfast. The only negative might be if you had a car - we didn't but judging from what we heard from other guests, parking seemed complicated.

This is totally completely absolutely normal in central Edinburgh. If people have a car they should do the research before booking in Edinburgh -- very few places in the centre of town have parking or 'convenient' parking. If someone had parking issues -- that would be on them.

Great report and so glad I found it ... by searching 14 Hart, BTW :) Glad to see that so many enjoyed their stay there.

Lovely TR. Just the right amount of detail and wonderful pix. The veil sculpture was exquisite!
