Ittlingen, Germany...Is anyone from there?

Ittlingen is a small town not far east of Heidelberg and not far west of Heilbronn. In 1747, my great-great-great-great grandfather and his wife and their 12 children left Ittlingen to come to America. Their name was Klemm. Do you have any knowledge of this small village?

Hi Arizona:

I don't know if you are still checking in here.

I am from Itlingen. My family moved to Canada in 1981.

You may find this picture interesting; it is also a request for information about Klemms. It is a picture of a napkin taken at a Restaurant in Ittlingen by a Suzanne Clem showing her relatives. Her Klemm ancestors also left Germany in 1747.
