Itinerary Help for Southern France/Italy and back to Paris

We are finalizing our trip to France in a couple of weeks and I am looking for any final suggestions or warnings about our itinerary.

Our interests for this trip include: nature, hiking, photography, wine, food, and relaxing with friends in small towns and villages. We hope to avoid cities, (the biggest) crowds and/or long hours at museums. We know we are selling Nice and Paris short, but we still want to see some of Paris, and have friends there and in Geneva. We also fly in and out of CDG. We know the second week of our trip involves a lot of moving around and a lot of driving, but is our time managed well?

In particular, I am looking for any suggestions for things to see between Beaune and Avignon or thereabouts that can fit into Day 3 without too much effort since this is basically just a driving day, and any suggestions for places to visit/things to see on Day 15-17 since these are also driving days. We hope to spend a half day in Chartreuse, a few hours in Annecy and an evening in Geneva. Also are there any red flags in our itinerary – the driving days and Day 13-17 in particular - that could make our itinerary unworkable? i.e. things to watch for, concerns, road conditions, etc. For example, how much of Day 15-17 will be through windy, narrow mountain passes? Thanks in advance for your helpful suggestions!

Day 1 – Travel Day
Day 2 – Arrive in Paris, rent car, drive to Beaune – sleep Beaune
Day 3 – Drive to Robion (45 min outside Avignon near Luberon) - sleep Robion
Day 4-9 – explore Provence from our home base of Robion (Avignon, Aix, markets, hill-top towns, hiking etc.)
Day 10 – Drive to Moustiers Ste. Marie/Gorges du Verdon – sleep Moustier Ste Marie
Day 11 – Hike in Gorges du Verdon – sleep Moustier Ste Marie
Day 12 – Explore Gorges du Loup – possibly hike - sleep Tourettes-sur-Loup
Day 13 – Drive to Nice in the morning (Chagall museum is only planned stop), drive to Levanto, Italy – sleep Bonnasola, Italy
Day 14 – Drive in to Levanto - Hike from Levanto to Monterosso - Explore Cinque Terre – take train back to Levanto - sleep Bonnasola, Italy
Day 15 – Drive to St Pierre de Chartreuse - sleep St Pierre de Chartreuse, France
Day 16 – spending morning in Chartreuse; in pm drive to Geneva via Annecy – sleep Geneva, Switzerland
Day 17 – Drive back to Paris
Day 18 – Paris
Day 19 – Paris
Day 20 – Travel Day
