Itinerary Help
I have 12 days for a Europe trip. I plan on flying into Paris. I would also like to fit in Rome and Munich. Can anyone tell me if this is possible with overnight trains or direct flights between these cities? Any recommendations for potential itineraries would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at http://www.whichbudget.com/en/cheapflights.php?from=MUC
Fly into Paris, then back home from either of the other two. Best wishes, Rex |
Hi P,
With only 12 days, I would enjoy Paris and Rome and leave Munich for another time. The only cheap flight between Paris and Rome is from Beauvais to Ciampino. Also check fares on www.kayak.com and www.mobissimo.com You can find night trains between Paris and Rome at http://www.voyages-sncf.com Also look at Helpful Information: Italy 2 http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34568596 Paris Superthread http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34519236 Enjoy your visit. I agree with Ira. With twelve days, which will include days to travel between destinations, you are much better off limiting your trip to Paris and Rome. Or, if you must go to Munich, to Paris and Munich. As rex says, arrange for an open jaw flight - into Rome and out of Paris, for example.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll be sure to look into it.
