Itinerary help

I wanted to get some feedback on an upcoming trip before we book our train tickets. My husband and I will be flying into London on 5/10 (land around 11 am) and flying out of London on 5/24 (leave around 9 am). We are thinking of spending the first 5 nights in London. From there, traveling via Eurostar to Brussels for 1-2 nights. Then travel to Amsterdam and spend 3 nights there. We will travel from Amsterdam to Paris where will spend the remaining 4-5 nights. We are going to take a plane from Paris to London early on the morning of the 24th. Does this seem reasonable? Thanks in advance!

I would definitely not fly to London from Paris the same morning as an international flight out of London.
Assuming your tickets are already booked RT into/out of London, and you cannot fly home from Paris, as soon as you land in London, go ahead and train to Amsterdam or Paris. Do your five days in London at the end.

I agree with Sassafrass about not flying out of London on the same day you fly in from Paris unless this is already booked as flight with a brief layover on the same ticket by the same carrier.

However, I wouldn't try to leave London the day you arrive unless you fly from a relatively short distance. When I fly there from California, I am too tired to think of going any further. Perhaps you can split up your time in London with 3 or 4 days at the beginning and one or two at the end?

Thank you both for your quick responses. The flight from Paris to London is not booked yet so we have flexibility there. The main reason we had decided to spend the first few days in London is we have friends who are also traveling during that time and wanted to meet up with them. But based on your feedback, that may not be possible.

So even if we land in London at 740, we would have a difficult time making our return flight home at 930? We are not checking any luggage if that makes any difference.

Thanks again!

Sorry correction. Our flight departs LHR at 11 am on the 24th (not 930)!

OK , it looks like you could make that connection, but I still would not do it because the flight from Paris to London is about an hour and a half, so departure at 6:00 to land at 7:30, check in & security, allow at least an hour, so 5:00, check out of hotel around 4:00AM - exhausting before such long flights. Would be so much nicer to have a good nights sleep in London and a nice breakfast before catching the 11:00 flight.

I would take the eurostar the evening before to London.
