Itinarary for England, Part 2
 

I didn't know I would run out of space! I still have 2 days there.
MONDAY-Spend morning at Parliment sites, Big Ben, 10 Downing, Westminster Abbey, tour it. Cross river and see Tate Modern(?). See 1 more play or do a pub crawl or theme walk (Jack the Ripper).
TUESDAY-See Tower of London, St. Pauls, Old Bailey and tie up loose ends, shop last minute. What should we do special for the last nite?
Anyway, this is such a rough draft. I'm sure I'm leaving out something really important. Or we're not seeing things in an order that makes sense. I know once we're there, everything will be perfect, but it takes time to get it right. So, you guys know the next line. Any helpful advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Firstly the hop on, hop off bus (especially upstairs for those photo shoots) will give you a good look at most attractions. I would recommend only visiting 2-3 attractions per day, eg. St.Pauls Cathedral, Harrods, and Buckingham Palace for one day.

Slow down, sometimes it is better to take your time at an attraction, to take it in & fully understand the history. You almost sound like you doing an "escorted" coach holiday, with 20 minutes here and 20 minutes there.
ITs not that important to SEE everything.

I'm not being funny, honestly.
However, I've noticed that many Americans on this board spell "night" as "nite".
Is this now a recognised spelling in the US?

You can only go as far as the gate at Downing St. - no outside number 10 photo opportunities! I'd do Tate Modern and The Tate another day.

Something special - see an arthouse film at the Curzon cinema and a nightcap at Claridge's bar.... Or start the evening with an aperitif at Milk & Honey, then move on to a smart London club, maybe Chinawhite or Embassy.

zwho, I would agree with the others who have recommended you leave more time to tour the Cotswolds (from your earlier itinerary thread). Also, if I recall correctly, you're traveling with 3 friends? With that many, leave some buffer time in your plans for slowpokes or those who might want to linger longer at a particular site.

Sylvia, I'm just lazy and want to cut these down, and I know I have a tendency to ramble (woops, there I go) Sorry! Thanks to all for your suggestions, especially the Sunday nite ones. Sounds kinda grown up and cool. BTW, my friends are the fast ones and I'm the slow poke who will need the xtra time. We're getting the hop on/hop off bus our first day in London.
