Italyperfect.com, has any had any experience with this business?

Interested in possibly renting a delightful Florence apartment from this business, has anyone ever rented through them?
What is their reputation? I have been to Florence once while single, and long to take my husband with me to experience Florence together this time! Any information or hints would be appreciated.
Thank you, T.

topping, still hopeful, hee.

I belive that company is associated with ParisPerfect. There have been many rave reviews for the ParisPerfect apartments. If you do a search for those, they might offer some assurance for Italyperfect.

Thanks cruisin!

I rented an apartment from www.italyperfect.com in January and we loved it. The apartment was great and looked just like the pictures on the website, the owner of the business is Lisa who is related to the ParisPerfect people - sisters I think. She was very responsive and informative. I saw she was quoted this week in a U.S. News & World Reports article on saving money when traveling to Europe. Enjoy Firenze!

Have rented from both ItalyPerfect and ParisPerfect. We stayed in their Rome studio apartment and in one of their Florence apartments last fall. We were really pleased with both apartments. Got good service from them before our trip and upon arrival. I'd rent from them again.

Hi Basta & Tapas,
Thank you for your replies. One quick question, did you have a problem connecting iwth her to "get the keys" so to speak. The only bad review I have seen is that someone had problems with that initial contact to do a key exchange.

I am greatly enjoying this, hee, trying to find the right spot for us, it is amazing how many hotels, etc. there are in such a small city.
I was in Florence 5 years ago (he has never been) but stayed about 15 minutes out of the city. I would like for us to be more in the city this time, to more experience Florence, be able to walk everywhere, but am looking for a place that won't be noisy. Somewhere scenic, perhaps with a view, and a feel for this beaitufl city. I can't wait to return.

Indeed that is the challenge, so I press on, in search of apt or hotel that is close to the sites, but very quiet.
Thanks for your replies, T.

We didn't have any issues with getting the keys. Everything went really smoothly. Italyperfect scheduled their greeter to meet us at the apartment and she had a bottle of wine, cookies, and fresh fruit to welcome us which was an unexpected surprise.

Nope, no problem getting keys, etc. for us either. Everything went very smoothly. Lots of useful info in their confirmation letter too with tips about where to get groceries, how to book museum tickets online, restaurants, cooking classes. Depending on when you're planning to go to Florence we learned to book early for the fall as good apartments and hotels really fill up in September and October since this is such a great time with fewer crowds and nicer weather.

Cookies and wine! (Good to know your key exchange went well)
Although this is a bit more scary, it appeals to me for some reason, and we may indeed go this route. On the other hand, there is a huge safety net with staying at a hotel. (I have a post going on the board about hotels that are close to the city, but quiet)
It is a hard decision, but there is so much good information on this board, I am sure my research will pay off.
We have lots of time to decide, wish we could be there now!
Thanks again, T.
