where to spend a week?

my fiancée and I are travelling Europe in July 2014 and have decided to extend the trip for another week. we are already travelling to Paris and Italy as well as England. Where would people recommend for us to spend an extra week somewhere? We are both in our 20's and
we were thinking of doing Amsterdam and Berlin? We want to go somewhere that isn't going to cost us an arm and a leg if that's possible

Thanks.

Amsterdam and Berlin are great choices.

What are you looking at doing in this yet-to-be-determined destination? Are you into culture? History? Shopping? Food? Drink? Relaxing?

I'll second Belgium and its cities. An accurate way to describe Belgian food is "French food in German quantities". Plus the beer is out of this world.

well if you want cheap then Berlin and the eastern cities of Germany can prove very good. But if you are in the Paris area then I'd look at Amsterdam and take trains to many of the smaller cities and see those sites plus of course over the border to Bruges or Ghent, you could even rent a bike and go into the country.
