Italy wilth travel planner
I am familiar with a few travel planners (Audley for example). What does Avoya offer?=left
We want it all done for us on this trip to Italy |
It looks expensive and unnecessary.
What does it offer? Not much more than you could glean from Fodors, but at a hefty price. Why? Italy is a pretty simple self-plan holiday. |
This would appeal to my SIL and her husband. They don't like to do any logistical research, read guidebooks or learn much about a place before they go. That doesn't mean you can't do this in addition to working with an agency, but it isn't really required. This is the opposite of the way I like to travel.
But I would read reviews about any travel service very carefully. Avoya gets its share of complaints. |
If this is the way you wish to travel, then the choice is yours really. It is my understanding, at least from what I am aware of, is that Audley specializes in more luxury plans/packages. But you can actually plan such on your own, too.
Personally, I enjoy the planning and research aspect of travel and prefer not to let someone else's "opinion" sway in where I travel, what I see, where I sleep or even what I eat. You may feel differently. |
