Italy weather reports?
I've been reading that weather in Italy lately is unseasonably rainy and cold. Anyone recently returned that can comment? What about website with reliable forecasts for the smaller Italian cities?
|
How's your Italian? The site I usually use is:- <BR>www.kwmeteo.kataweb.it/tempo/previsioni.html <BR> <BR>This gives you current temps. and 3-day forecasts. <BR>Click on the region or city that interests you ... <BR> <BR>April has been cooler than normal, but temps are near normal this week, <BR>e.g. Rome 20-24C. <BR> <BR>Hope this helps... <BR> <BR>Steve James <BR>

Steve is correct; April was cold and rainy, with snow the day before Easter. But now, la primavera arriva. I find that the CNN Europe site is the most reliable. You can go to the exact cities you will be visiting. <BR> <BR>Have a great trip.

Thanks to both of you. My Italian isn't so great, but it'll be fun to try to decipher the forecast.

The weather site I was referring to is in English: http://www.cnn.com/WEATHER/newcities/europe.html <BR> <BR>(I really liked the new old site, or is it the old new site, where you could make the link.)

I use both cnn website and timeout.com website....cnn gives you a 5 day forecast and is terrific
