Italy weather in October

We're visiting Rome, Umbria and Florence from Oct 5-14. I know the weather is usually beautiful everywhere at that time of year, but not sure about temperatures-sixties, seventies? How are the evenings. Thanks!

We were in Rome last Oct. and the weather was beautiful - 70's and sunny. My husband wore long pants with a Polo shirt and I generally wore a long skirt or capri's with sandals. A sweater in the evening was a good idea.

We are leaving for Berlin and Prague Oct. 2-17 and I'm also wondering about the weather but I think I'll plan on the same clothes that I wore to Rome.

Have a great trip.

Thank you that was helpful. I also need to know if anyone knows of the luggage allowances internationally. I'm flying from Hawaii to Rome using American to LA and than Luftansa into Rome. My 2nd question is about services from the airport to Hotel in Rome and cost..

Berlin and Prague are much further north and will likely be cooler. You need at least a light jacket and a couple of sweaters (not very heavy - but something). Weather will be more like New York or Boston - not the Carolinas - as Rome is.

Cabs here have a fixed E40 rate so don't let them try to charge you differently (from the airport I mean!)! However just to ensure that you don't get swindled, you may want to ask your hotel about the cost of a private transfer. International checked luggage limits should be 2 bags per person weighing no more than 23 kilos or 50 lbs each if I'm correct. And Italy will be rather warm with cool breezes at night and damp foggy/rainy mornings. For Berlin and Prague you may want sweaters for the evenings. And boots are never a bad idea when it's about to be rainy season.
