Is the heat wave over in Italy?

Weather.com says temps in Rome for the next week will be in the lower to mid 80s, with lows around 60.

I just got back Monday from 2 weeks in Italy. It broke 100 degrees F nearly every day we were there. Since airconditioning is less prevelant and ice is rare, we about melted.
