Italy Visa Questions

Hi I plan to travel to Italy on October, it would be my first time in Italy, well it would be my first time to go on a trip like this ever. So I've got quite a number of questions, but this post will focus on all of my visa questions, hope you guys can help me with tips and suggestions.

1. Confirmed bookings for return trip and accommodation - Isn't this a little risky? What if I get denied with my visa application? And after I book do i just print out the page that shows I am booked in that particular flight/place?

2. Invitation/Declaration of Accommodation form - where can i get this? I plan to stay in hostels and all hostels I've check says that they are unable to send mail or fax letters for visa document applications.

3. Health Insurance Policy - where can I get this? I've searched the net and tons of sites came up. I'm thinking of purchasing an insurance policy from AXA

has anyone tried this, then again after I purchase the policy online what document do i show as proof.

4. Proof of economic means of support - will my latest bank statement be enough?

5. Documentation of socio professional standing - Certificate of Employment?

Thanks

How would anyone know whether you need a visa without knowing what country you are from?

Visa questions should be directed to the Italian embassy or consulate, not a travel board.

You need to ask the Italian Embassy in Riyadh what forms of evidence are required and how long the visa application process is likely to take.
