Italy: Venice in May, Hotel?
I'm planning a honeymoon with a stay of three or four days in Venice at the end of May, and wondered if anyone would share advice about the Hotel Manin, or could recommend a good place to stay--something romantic, good "atmosphere," without being incredibly expensive (if that's possible in Venice)!

Locanda Orseolo, though I fear they may already be booked (since in the off-season they are funning at or near full capacity).
Reading the reviews on Trip Advisor still won't prepare you for the reality of actually staying there.

We stayed here in August 2005, on our third trip to Venice. Absolutely perfect. In a great area, the Dorsoduro.
Lovely room, with a beautiful view of a small canal. Wonderful personel, great breakfast. The outdoor garden areas were the highlight. We paid 140 E per night
