Italy- trips and tours leaving from Venice

We are planning on going on a Adventure by Disney to Italy. We will be visiting Rome, Orvieto, Tavamelle Val di Pesa, Florence and the trip ends in Venice. We have an additional five days to spend after Venice. We will be traveling with a 10 year old child and would like some recommendations from Venice. We would like a mix of culture and relaxing since we are travel with a child.

What time of year will this be?

Is this a land tour - and how many days does it give you in each place - will you actually see Rome and Florence?

We will be traveling this June and we will be spending four days in Rome, one day in Umbria, one day in Cortefreda, two days in Florence and two days in Venice. Should we spend the additional five days in Venice with some side trips? What other areas would you recommend.

Does your flight home depart from Venice?

We haven't secure airfare yet. We are flying into Rome, but open on our return depending upon the balance of our trip.
