Wanderer,
In Santorini, we stayed at Aressana in Fira. Very nice hotel but no caldera view. They do have a great pool, nice staff, excellent breakfast and very comfy beds! I also recommend Atlantis, which is right next to Aressana and has a view. Both hotels are near the big church so expect bells to wake you on Sunday. :) They are about 150-200 euro a night. If you want cheaper, look into Melena. A bit out of the way but very nice accomodations for like 60 euro a night. We also went to Oia and stayed at one of the more expensive hotels called Katikies. It was our honeymoon so we splurged. Otherwise, we never would have paid 300 euro a night. http://www.greekhotel.com/cyclades/s...ssana/home.htm http://greece.hispeed.com/santorinihotelsatlantis.htm http://www.melinasantorini.gr/ http://www.katikies.com |
Snuffy,
I use a digital Sony cybershot (3.3 megapixels). It's about 3 years old. They make much nicer versions of it now for around $500 I think... |
