TY (or as a friend used to write: 10Qs) -- I know how to make the trenitalia website speak English, but the seat graphics get wonky in English -- only seem to speak Italian.
Let me know if anyone can figure out the frontwards-backwards puzzle. |
This is to all those ppl who booked the 29 or the 39 E tickets on trenitali.I booked the full price tickets 2 or 3 weeks back for may 1st.I was under the impression that those discounted tickets were available only till the 28th of april.I want to cancel my existing tickets and buy the discounted ones. But the problem is that once i log in everything is in italian and i don't understand italian.I did switch it to the english version.Either i am doing smthng wrong or smthngs wrong with the website ...please help...

I got a reply from my hotel in Venice today that they were able to reserve my train tickets for the promotional rate of 39Euro. To be honest, I'm still not sure why the Trenitalia website wasn't working properly and the hotel didn't confirm or deny this, but perhaps the promotional tickets need to be purchased/reserved within Italy. I suggest to contact your hotel and see if they have an agent they work with that can make the purchase for you and can provide payment upon arrival as we are doing. It's worth the extra effort to save some money!
