italy tour

If i'll arrive at the Milan Bergamo Airport in the morning of 21th July 2011 and will be leaving in the morning of 24th July 2011. Any suggestions for me to plan my trip itinerary if i'm interested to go travel ard milan, pisa, florence and venice. thanks a lot!!!

First off, GET REAL. You have 2.5 days and your list includes 3 of the most spectacular and interesting cities in Italy; not a chance. Pick one, two at a max with the clrar expectation that you will not see much of any of the two. July is high season; just the logistics to move around and get into places will eat away a good portion of your day. Hard choices; good thing Italy isn't going anywhere....

Train over to Venicetourism.com stop at sirmione.com Garda on your way

Bout all u have time for www.hotelpausania.it Otel.com cute little

Cheap Venice Palazzo 59 euro for me in May.

if you want to cram go to Florence but I would not

Hotel Eden my fav in Sirmione Orwell used to stay there with Ezra Pound

You are very short on time and very long on destinations

Pare back for better experience regional trains cheap nice from 2 euro per hour

Spend your 3 days in Venice.

I'm wondering why you're flying into Bergamo when all 4 cities you want to see have airports.

CUFFLNX Jun 21st, 2011 04:19 AM

Since your in Milan, see it all and a day trip to Lake Como. That will be plenty; as someone earlier said, thank goodness Italy is not going anywhere, you'll go back for the other cities.

Thanks a lot to Viajero2,qwovadis and adrienne for ur quick replies...Everything planned at the last minute, so it's a bit rush. So the best suggestion would be travel in Venice at tat 3 days right or it's better if i just travel ard milan?? i have bought the ryan air tickets and no choice the airport is at Bergamo.

I stayed in Bergamo for three or four days several years ago. Its a very pleasant place.

with that little time I would just stay in Bergamo and do one day trip to either Como or Milan, both only one hour away by train.
