Italy--Todi to Siena
 

We will be staying in a villa near Todi this September and one of the people who will be coming to stay with us has expressed an interest in visiting Siena for a day. I'm willing to drive, I estimate it's about a 2 hour drive--does anyone have an opinion on the simplest route.

luckily I already had the viamichelin site up and was able to look this up for you. this is their recommended route:

michelin estimates 1 hour 49 mins - so 2 hours isn't far off.

I just ran it--it says 1:57 by that route--I would allow 2:10
Try to enter Siena at the Porta Tufi gate just south of Siena and follow the big "P" signs.
