Planning on being in Dingle June 16-18. Would appreciate any B&B recommendations.

Caveat: my stay here was in 2007, but it looks like it's still getting great reviews. Emlagh Lodge, right on the water and an easy walk into town. Maggie (and her breakfasts) were wonderful then and judging by TripAdvisor, still are.

Not the cheapest but, in my opinion, worth the premium: http://www.castlewooddingle.com/.

Accomodation in Dingle leans to being on the expensive side and regular contributors to many forums focus on a select few, mainly high end.

Pax House http://www.pax-house.com/ always gets a mention despite being a good walk out from the hub of the town.
Ashes http://www.ashesdingle.com/ is closer to Main Street, Brosnans closer to the quay http://www.dinglebrosnansaccommodation.com/
I always give the Lantern Townhouse right in town as it has a downstairs bedroom for guests who are physically challenged http://www.dinglebedandbreakfast.com/

Another vote for Castlewood House (based on multiple trips to Dingle and staying at various properties); however, you are tight on time. I wonder if you might be better served by basing in Killarney for a few nights.

We stayed two nights at the Lighthouse. We were in a room with a wonderful view of the bay. It was exceptionally clean, and the breakfasts were varied and filling.
They even arranged a private day tour for us, which was a highlight!

How far is Killarney? Any specific B&Bs you would recommend?

Hi,

We had a great stay last year at Killarney Lodge:
https://killarneylodge.ie/
Might be over your budget.

Killarney is centrally located for the Ring of Kerry, Muckross House, Lakes of Killarney, Beara Peninsula, Gap of Dunloe, the National Park.

I LOVE Dingle but Killarney might be better for such a short trip.

<< How far is Killarney?>> How far from what? Dingle to Killarney is about 65 minutes. Shannon Airport to Killarney is about 1 hour 50 minutes (call it 2 hours).

Here is a guide to Killarney - see if it appeals to you:

Killarney, Sunnybank Guest house or the Eviston Hotel are top of my list

My recommendations are for Dingle definitely Pax House. Yes it might not be right in town but you can drive there in 5 minutes or walk to town in about 20 minutes. The setting is just wonderful. We stayed there 2 nights during our first trip to Ireland in 2009 and could not have been happier.

As far a Killarney another big recommendation is to stay at
Earls Court. We have stayed there twice now and loved it. I even asked for their breakfast sweet bread recipe it was so good. You are only about 5 minutes to downtown Killarney but not where you would be disturbed by the tourist buses.
