Italy Sept 17 to Oct 4
 

I am going to Italy on Sept 17 and we will be starting off in Venice to Florence to Rome to Pompeii to Sicily we will be spending 2 days everwhere and 6 days in sicily. Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Let's see - - Sep 18 and 19 in Venice and Sep 20 and 21 in Florence? <BR> <BR>Identical to "our" (fall Fodorites' trip to Italy) in florence - - arriving Sep 20, afternoon, departing from Florence on Sep 22. Staying at Hotel Giada on Canto dei Nelli; might be a bit jet laged that first night - - and going for "big splurge" at Villa San Michele on Friday, Sep 21 ($$$). But we would welcome a meet-up sometime, somewhere. And I don't think it is case-specific. <BR> <BR>And it's true, I didn't give you our entire itinerary, as I am pretty sure that Florence is a direct link to yours, but nothing else is. <BR> <BR>But here are more details: <BR> <BR>Sep 22-29 - - Lake Garda (a villa at Punta San Vigilio) - - with an overnight to Venice in the middle, Sep 25-26. <BR> <BR>Sep 29-Oct 3 - - Rome. <BR> <BR>or please - - do not hesitate to write to me, or call. <BR>
