italy or greece

we can't seem to decide between corsica/sardinia or the greek islands. We both enjoy hiking and beautiful sandy beaches where we can just relax and maybe try snorkeling. We do not care for loud discos and crazy parties. We have been to Ibiza and we thought it was too wild for us. Any suggestions?
Might want to throw Croatia in there, just to complicate your decision further. Major diving capital.

I have never been to greek islands but if you like hiking then I would spend couple days in corsica and then sardinia for relaxation.

As for Bill's comment, please do not waste our time with your sarcasm.

Huh? Aug 25th, 2002 08:47 PM

Uhhh...what sarcasm?

Bill Aug 25th, 2002 09:10 PM

There is no sarcasm in suggesting the Croatian coast for "hiking and beautiful sandy beaches where we can just relax and maybe try snorkeling".
Judy:

Well: France (Corse), Italy (Sardinia), Greece, Coratia... Have you considered southern Tuscany? There you can find both good beaches and great hiking areas (parks). Check out the Alberese area and the nearby Parco dell'Uccellina (or Parco Nazionale della Maremma as it is also called).
