Italy Nightlife Scene Suggestions. Tropea/Catania/Gallipooli/Bari
 

Hi there.
I find it difficult to research nightlife throughout Italy.

For our trip at the end of September my friends and I have planned to fly into Rome and spend a few days touring sites, then down to pompeii and sorrento/amalficoast afterwards.
For my friends 30th birthday I was trying to plan our itinerary without much luck. It will be Wednesday September 26th around the time we "plan" to leave amalfi/sorrento.
I have considered booking Tropea after Sorrentto as ive heard good things for beach parties and such.
We plan on heading down to Sicily shortly after Sorrento so I'm wondering if we are better off to bypass Tropea and go straight to Sicily and start out week long stay there maybe Catania or something lesser known?
A bit off the beaten path for us would be Bari or Gallipoli which i've also considered but again I am entirely open to any suggestions/recommendations.
