Italy Itinerary
Need advice on an itinerary for a 14 day trip for my two college age children a boy and girl who each would like to enjoy the trip doing things they both enjoy.....sightseeing, cooking class, visiting a winery, mineral baths, relaxing. They will be landing and departing from Milan and are interested in the following cities: Milan, Venice, Bologna, Florence. I thought they should also visit such places as Verona, Padua, Lucca. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on these cities?
Thank You |
They might want to look at Montecatini for the spa visit. It's not far from Florence. They can also book a wine tour for the day out of Florence and Lucca is an easy day trip (1 hour by either bus or train).

you have tagged this as a trip report which means people are not as likely to respond to your questions. you might want to re-post the same question with a heading like Northern Italy itinerary for college age travelers and no TR tag
Padua is easy to visit from Venice, Lucca is easy from Florence.I think if your kids stay in Venice and Florence they could decide while they are there whether to take day trips to these other locations. Padua is probably especially interesting for them because of the university there. |
Thank you kyb and Vtt for your responses....I will look at Montecatini and I have changed my posting from the TR tag.
