7 days in Tuscany - Montepulciano, Villa Poggiano or Cortona, Villa Marsili? would appreciate any info
|
You should probably get a guide book.

Both towns are quite lovely and very steep, if that is an issue for you at all.
If doing southern Tuscany, Montepulciano is a good base, and if doing areas to the east and Umbria, Cortona would be better. Try to decide on some of the towns, sites, art, etc. that are important to you on this visit, and then decide which location would suite those choices best. Try to find a good, detailed map of Tuscany to help with your decision. Good Luck! |
For more responses, you might want to repost this question with either the names of the towns or the names of the hotels.
Good Luck. |
Montepulciano is better located for my favorite parts of Tuscany. Get the book TOP 10 TUSCANY by Reid Bramblett for more details.
