Italy Hotel Suggestions

Please share suggestions for 2 star type hotels or B&Bs (not over $85/night for a double if possible-- questionable on probable in Venice!) for a May trip to Italy. Prefer safe, clean, quiet, no pet/smoking rooms with walking access to to train stations in the following cities: Venice, Florence, Siena, Cinque Terra villages. Any walking tours or "don't miss" suggestions are most welcome. Grazie.

Tripadvisor.com is the best site to go to for hotel recs. especially with your limited budget.

We stayed at this BnB in Venice. It will be tough with your budget.
Good luck with your planning and have a great trip!

I think for that price in May, convents are your best bet.

Check out the recommendations from the American Church in Rome, Santa Susanna:

In Florence, you may want to check out Pensione Canada for your price range.

That is a very low budget (60€) for a double especially for major cities in May. That will be hard to find even at convents as in Rome they tend to run more in the 80€ range ($112) which book up months in advance for the better located ones.
