Italy Honeymoon- HELP!

We will be traveling to Italy on our honeymoon this September. I have already booked the following...

Venice (3 nights) - Pensione La Calcina
Florence (3 nights) - Hotel Silla
Spello (3 nights) - Palazzo Bocci
Arezzo (2 nights) - Villa i Bossi

Now I am thinkig of substituting Siena for Florence and staying there for 5 nights(with a side trip to Florence and Lucca)followed by 3 nights in Spello.

I would appreciate any feedback and suggestions.

Thanks!

Hi book,

I'm not sure that I would be happy for 5 nights in Siena unless I had a car and was using it as a hub to visit the rest of the region.

You can't do Florence and Lucca as a side trip.

I recommend at least an overnight in Florence.

I like your idea but agree with Ira that using Siena as a hub with a car is what makes sense. I like your hotel choices, but I see little need for Arezzo with your other locations. It will be hard to go wrong. Good luck !

Bookladykim,
Not sure of where you are flying into..will assume order in which you posted, Venice. Will assume again that you would be travelling by train to Florence. If this is the case, then thats your time to see Florence for however many nights you decide. I'd rent a car leaving Florence to get to Spello. From Spello I'd go to Siena area but not necessarily stay in Siena, not the best with a car but is ok and doable. I'd skip Arezzo for this trip.

Thanks everyone. As you guessed, we are flying into Venice and flying out from either Florence or Perugia.

What I'm thinking now is to spend 2-3 nights in Siena (w/car) and 2-3 nights in Spello (w/car).
