Italy honeymoon: 5/29-6/13/06
 

Hi,

With your wonderful help we have booked our honeymoon trip as follows:

Fly into Naples, private car down to positano arrival on 5/29/06
5/29/06 - Il San Pietro, 6-Nights

6/4/06 - Rome; Exedra 4-Nights (this is a 5 star hotel, but a little further away)

6/8/06 - Pick up Rental Car in Rome and Drive to Locanda in Tuscany

6/8/06 - Locanda Amarosa; 5-Nights

6/13/06 - Drop off rental car at Rome airport and fly home.

This is all we've got so far. We plan to do a day trip to florence and to various towns in Tuscany as well.

Do you have any suggestions for day trips while in Tuscany? (i.e.wine tasting, cooking class)

Also, do you have any 4/5 star restaurant recommendations throughout rome, positano and tuscany?

NATC - wow, sounds like a lovely trip!! How was it? Highlights?

I don't know if you'll see this or not (since your honeymoon was last year), but did you like Il San Pietro?

My fiance and I are considering staying there, and wanted to know if you thought it was worth it. We will be on our honeymoon in May as well.
