Hope to meet you there, the 7th it is. I've sent you email(s) to confirm.

I can't wait. Too bad Susan can't join us. We'll just have to drink a limoncello for her.

JenV,
I will definitely put that on the list, and if the rest of the group is up for it then we will stop by.
(I'm traveling with my husband, old college roommate and her fiance).
We are all first timers to Positano

Kismetchiara, would you and Pina like to have dinner on the 6th? Please let me know.

JenV, would you like to meet for a drink? Before or after dinner? In what area of Rome will you be staying?

Get in touch with me, please, both of you, I'd love to see you!

BC, I would love to have dinner with you the 6th or the 7th.
BTW, you speak Italian right? My friend does not speak English.
Have fun ladies and have a Limoncello for me also.

Perfetto, Kismetchiara! Si, ci parlo, ma non molto bene, ma tu puoi essere la nostra "translator", va bene? Let me rest up on the 6th, we will dine together on the 7th, and we shall be in touch, okay? You leave soon, do you not? I will e-mail you and we can make some more specific plans.

Buona Notte, Bella Amica,

BC, we are staying at Residenza Canali ai Coronari, Piazza Navona area. Would love to do drinks either before or after dinner. It is our last night and we will want to savor it as long as possible and stretch the night out.

I changed my flight schedule and will stay in Rome until the 13th.
Actually I will be in Ostia, our now huge beach city near Rome and will be a guest at my friend's home.

Hi JenV!
I checked into the Europe board for the first time in months because it is coming up on one year since my trip to Italy last year and I'm missing it like crazy!
I am very pleased to hear you will be going again in a few days! I hope you will have a wonderful time. I continue to daydream of my next visit to lovely Italia...
Buon viaggio!

Ruba, grazie mille! I hadn't intended to visit this year but like you I couldn't stop dreaming about it and when I found a great fare I couldn't resist. I will throw a coin in the Trevi for you and hope that your dream is fulfilled in the near future.
Ciao,
Jen
P.S. Belinda just sent me the pictures from our trip last year so I will forward you the link tomorrow.

Fellow gtg'rs I just received this confirmation for dinner on the 7th, please let me know if you wish to join so I can increase the # of people:

Can anyone translate the second sentence, I put it in babel fish and got something odd

le confermo la sua prenotazione per il 07/09/06 alle ore 20.00 per 7 persone.

Nell'attesa di una sua ulteriore conferma le porgo i più sinceri saluti.

Fabrizio di:
Armando al Pantheon

Ciao,
JenV

Hi Jen,

Sweet of you to throw a coin in the Trevi on my behalf, I'll need it because it looks like it will be awhile before I can return there... When you get a chance, I would love to see the photos Belinda sent you. Say hello to her for me.
I am going to attempt a translation of that second sentence for you. I think he said: "While waiting for any further confirmation from you, I give you my most sincere regards".
Once again, I hope you will have a fabulous time there.
Take care,
Ruba
